Steam Cranberry Cake - Finger Food Recipe (12mth+)

The steam cranberry cake is easy, quick and nutritious for babies, toddlers and beyond. Ideal as great finger food for baby-led weaning, or a quick breakfast ideas for lazy morning. They reheat remarkably well in a toaster, so you can freeze any uneatean steam cranberry cake for later use. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 egg
  • 50g of plain yogurt
  • 70g of milk
  • 40g of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped cranberry

Method: 

Mix the yogurt, milk, beaten egg and flour in a large bowl, to give a smooth, dropping consistency. Brush a small dish with oil, then sprinkle the bottom with chopped cranberry. Gently pour in the batter. Cover the dish with heat resistent cling wrap, poke a few holes with a toothpick. Transfer to a steamer and steam for 20 minutes. Allow to cool in the dish for 15 minutes, transfer the steam cake on a board and cut them into thin rectangular size that is easy for your baby to handle. Serve
