Baby Version Chicken Sausage for 8mth+ (No Salt, no sugar)
If you have ever wanted to make your own sausage for your baby, this easy baby version sausage is for you! The chicken sausage recipe has no-salt, high in protein, and super delicious!
The chicken sausage is great as finger food, or any meal of the day, serve with rice, bread or even make it into hotdog! You could make a batch in advance, store and freeze in air tight containers and lightly pan-fried before serving for the extra crunch.
(MAKE 12 sausages)
- 300g minced chicken
- 1 tablespoon of corn flour
- 2 tablespoons of oatmeal
- 2 tablespoons of corn (finely chopped)
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Scoop mixture into a piping bag, snip off the end of your piping bag. Pipe the sausage mixture on a greased aluminium foil, in long lines. Carefully roll the foil around the sausage mixture, seal both end by twisting the foil. (Note : No piping bag? No problem. Use a plastic ziplock bag instead.)
Place the sausages in a steamer and steam for 20 minutes.
Remove the foil casing and serve. Alternately you can pan fry the steamed sausage for extra the crunch.
